Update from Day 3 on the Salt

Update from day 3 at the Salt. They have repaired the engine. The repair involved replacing a piston, a rod ,injectors & valves. So with the repairs being completed the team did a testing run at 150 mph which went well.

So after all of the repairs were completed on the engine internals.Bronze Aussie had another run this afternoon. The engine kept breaking down so the speed wasn't as good as the morning run. The team have changed the distributor cap and other electrical components over to hopefully rectify this situation. It also started raining on the lake later in the afternoon so no more runs were made. The plan is to have another go tomorrow morning.
